Food Safety Superhero was originally a place where I could share food safety tips without sounding all scientific and confusing. I wanted it to be a place where you can learn about food safety tips from someone who could explain the process in a non-technical manner.
When I was a young mom, I had really poor food hygiene practices and I gave my family food poisoning on more than one occasion. I’m not proud of it, but I learned a lot about myself and how to prevent the mistakes I was constantly making.
As I progressed with my blog, there were other areas within the home I wanted to discuss, but they fell outside of the realm of food safety. This is when I realized I needed to change things up and to turn Food Safety Superhero into your one-stop resource for all things related to a safe, happy, and healthy kitchen.
With that said, you may find an article or two about decluttering or other household tips lurking around the archives. If you stumble across them, I hope they offer you as much value as the rest of the content I provide.
The new and improved Food Safety Superhero will discuss food safety (of course), but I’m also going to share with you kitchen safety, kitchen cleaning & disinfection tips. If you think about it; all of it pretty much ties in with food safety.
Clean food. Clean kitchen.
At times, my home may be in disarray, but my kitchen is my sanctuary. It’s the one place I know will never be cluttered and always cleaned to my specifications. I love my kitchen. Can you say the same thing about yours? If not, together we can make your kitchen one of your most favorite rooms in your home.
One of my pet peeves in life is the amount of inaccurate information I find on the web. Due to this, I research all of my articles through well documented and highly esteemed governmental agencies like the FDA, the USDA, the CDC, and FoodSafetyGov, just to name a few.
I do my best to provide you with the most accurate information.
Regardless if you stay for a while or never come back, I’m totally grateful you did stop by even if it was for a minute or two.
Thanks again for stopping by. If you ever want to drop me a line, you can always reach out to me at hi@foodsafetysuperhero.com.
Until we meet again,
Stacey
